so... the interview...

was at 2:00 PM PST - I didn't actually make that clear in my last post. So it was 5:00 PM my time.

It went really well, I think. There were tims where I wasn't really sure what kind of answers they wanted to some questions, but they seemed very satisfied with what I had to say. I get the feeling that they were genuinely impressed and pleased. I think I came across as a skilled professional with a lot of potential - which sounds like a great image in my mind.

Anyway, they said they would get back to me soon (most likely Thursday) with an update on the interview process. No word on when the final decision would be (as I think they still have to interview the other candidates) but I remain the same as before: optimistic and confident. I suppose the only way it could have gone better is if they ended the interview with "Great, you're hired", but that's not really a realistic situation.

Cool! Sounds like you did everything you could. Now, the fun part - you wait.

Oh yeah, that part rules :) I would definitely like to know either way, but while I have to admit that being hired on the spot would be very flattering, I'm glad they're taking time to think about it, you know? It's nice to see a potential employer give due consideration to a big decision.

That last bit is complete bullshit. :)
